Happy Fox Friday! If foxes don’t make your day a little better, you’re probably dead inside 🀣

If mountains could speak, what do you think they would say? Or are they already speaking & we’re not paying attention?

As a child, I was a mermaid. You couldn’t get me out of the ocean; I would spend days in it. I was obsessed. As I grew older, I traded the ocean for mountains. & now, the ocean scares me. Its funny how things change. It’s the vastness & the unknown of what lies beneath. Yet I miss it & want to learn underwater photography sooooooo bad. #neverstoplearning

Hi, I’m @charlysavely πŸ‘‹πŸ» I like long walks along mountain tops with @joshsavely πŸ” & my favorite food is toast 🍞 I collect tattoos & feathers. I’m a fierce dog mum to @instaoatmeal & @arrowadventuring 🐺🐺🐢 Currently, when I’m not shooting πŸ“Έ you can find me being a weirdo at a coffee shop or building out our van & next home, Sushi 🚐 (more to come about that on @thesavelys later πŸ™Š) Anyways, enough about me, what are you into?

Bald eagles have two foveae or centers of focus in their eyes, that allow the birds to see both forward & to the side at the same time. Eagles have eyelids that close during sleep. For blinking, they also have an inner eyelid called a nictitating membrane. Every three or four seconds, the nictitating membrane slides across the eye from front to back, wiping dirt & dust from the cornea. Because the membrane is translucent, the eagle can see even while it is over the eye. πŸ‘€πŸ¦…πŸ’™
