I remember when I would eat a meal I would think about what my next meal was going to be. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on oreos, crunchwraps, pizza, pop, you name it. I was constantly thinking about food. Then I would feel like shit at the end of the day. Blame the food. Say I need to stay away from bad foods. Wake up the next day as if nothing happened. That cycle lasted for a longggg freaking time. 💔 . Today, food is my fuel. If I want some candy I’ll probably have some f*cking candy. But I damn sure am not going to feel guilty about it. Because I know I’m fueling my body with what it needs with the right amount of veggies, fruits, proteins, etc. I don’t constantly think about food anymore. I am mindful of the food I am eating in that very moment.
