✨💫 canmore river walk 💫✨ #vortex -
I can’t stress this enough . If you are in Canmore & looking for something to do. Never overlook a good ol’ river walk. 🏔We often feel there is something//someone out there that we need to compete with, prove something to, push ourselves to be better, find something cooler, hike higher.... etc etc. beauty is all around us. Slow down. listen to your own body .... rather than what your inner instagram self (page) thinks you should do (tomorrow I’ll be posting a vid of me sky diving to balance this one out tho) 😉❤️ remember: presence is a present ✨🙂🙃
A repost for @natgeo ’s #natgeo100contest. I love photographing mothers and their young. You can see the affection between them so clearly, and I think it is easy for humans to connect to that. This particular moose and calf are very special to me, as we had several opportunities to watch them interact with each other.
Not pictured: me screaming all the way down this mountain and Scott trailing me yelling at me to keep my feet straight. ⛷ Today was my first day of skiing ever! I signed up for a ski lesson and tackled greens in the afternoon. It was always something I was embarrassed about but today I learned it’s never too late to start and I LOVED it. Thanks to the sibs for taking me. @elisalayher + Scott 😇
