Here's a peek at our new website. What do you think?⁣ ⁣ We had quite a list of objectives! We wanted to weave together and showcase our experience across 9 different sectors. Secondly, we wanted to highlight our focus on people; the diverse and brilliant people in our team, our like-minded clients and collaborators as well as the people who use the spaces and places we design. And also, we wanted talk about our purpose; why we do this and the difference we want to make in the world through the built environment.⁣ ⁣ Thank you to the team at @hoynedesign who helped us to really capture 'us' in our refreshed branding, and to @intersquadglobal for the seamless website dev experience.⁣ ⁣ #clarkehopkinsclarke #impacttomorrow

We’ve made some changes here at ClarkeHopkinsClarke. They may seem superficial at first glance. But to us, these small changes help us to better communicate the big change we actually want to make in the world. To Impact Tomorrow. One project at a time. More posts of our new branding to come, but in the meantime check out our new website - link in bio - and let us know what you think in the comments! #clarkehopkinsclarke #impacttomorrow

Mount Alexander Road, Essendon was a major gateway to the goldfields in Gold Rush-era Melbourne. We drew inspiration from the elevated site’s rich history, geology and views to create a bold, elegant development that raises the bar for multi-residential apartment design in the area. The clever design solution eschews bulk and delivers instead smart setbacks and soft curves. High quality, understated interiors deliver beautiful finishes and gorgeous views. A rear entrance integrates the development seamlessly with its neighbouring park. Project: Alexa Client: Buildcorp Commercial Photos: @rhiannonslatter

As part of the Tallangatta Revitalisation Strategy, Towong Shire Council appointed us to work with the local community to develop a strategy, ‘Tallangatta Tomorrow’, to help Tallangatta become a thriving town. Community consultation helped the project team set goals and initiatives to be developed over the following 5-15 years with projects identified as priorities for the shorter term. All projects aimed to make Tallangatta a prosperous town. The Sandy Creek Rail Bridge was one of these initial projects.

The Sandy Creek Rail Bridge Project, spanning Lake Hume (9km west of Tallangatta) has attracted tourism to the area by utilising the historic rail bridge pylons, providing an iconic rail trail bike link between Wodonga and Tallangatta, celebrating the region’s history and vibrant future.

“When students walk through the front doors of Whittlesea Tech School they will enter a new world! "A world of 3D printers and scanners, laser cutters, digital music composition equipment and all the other tools of tomorrow. A world where technology, imagination and innovation merge to create new solutions to old problems. A world where breaking with conventional wisdom is not only encouraged but it is expected. And a world where emersion in modern tech, gives rise to creative inspiration, unexpected discoveries and just as crucially an enormous amount of fun.” ⁣ - The Hon. James Merlino MP⁣ ⁣ Located on the Melbourne Polytechnic Epping Campus, the new facility functions as an innovative learning hub, connecting 10,000 secondary students from 14 government, independent and public schools in the local region to a technology rich and industry-focused learning framework, preparing them for the jobs of the future. ⁣⁣ Project: @whittleseatechschool ⁣⁣ Client: @melbpoly ⁣⁣ Photo: @diannasnape

Developing skills for the jobs of the future!⁣ ⁣ Students at Whittlesea Tech School work individually or collectively on a project over the term that responds to local industry or community needs. ⁣ ⁣ Projects progress through stages of ideation, design, development, presentation, and exhibition. ⁣ ⁣ The image above shows the innovation workshop. A practical space that connects physically to high-tech equipment such as CNC routers and 3D printers, giving students agile learning spaces to develop creative, analytical, problem solving skills and fostering curiosity, experimentation and teamwork.⁣ ⁣ Project: @whittleseatechschool ⁣ Client: @melbpoly ⁣ Photo: @diannasnape

Multi-age, multi-stage, cross-school, cross-sector! At Whittlesea Tech School there were unique opportunities to link curriculum to space. Learning environments such as the pictured auditorium signal a more independent or tertiary style of learning for the secondary students, as do virtual conferencing facilities that allow access to industry experts across the world.
